Remeny Royle
— Chair / Director
Remeny Royle is the Chair of the Guthrie Heritage SCIO and the proud granddaughter of the 21st Clan Chief, Moyra Guthrie. Raised by Flavia Guthrie Armitage, Remeny grew up immersed in the stories of her family and clan, developing a deep pride in her Scottish heritage. An entrepreneur and business owner with a background in marketing and strategy, she brings both passion and professional expertise to the charity. Remeny is committed to preserving the Guthrie legacy—not just for Guthries around the world, but for her two sons and future generations.
Arabella Moyra Jones
— Vice Chair / Director
Arabella Moyra Jones is the Vice-Chair of the Guthrie Heritage SCIO and daughter of the late Rosanagh Guthrie. Arabella started the project of establishing the Guthrie Heritage SCIO in her late mother’s memory and she continues to represent her, her sisters, and her daughter in this role. Arabella grew up in Perth, Western Australia and Guthrie, Angus. She brings the skills gained from a long career in professional services to the SCIO.
Carrie Whitlow
— Director
Carrie Guthrie-Whitlow, daughter of Harry Lee Guthrie (1938-2021), became interested in her Guthrie heritage in 1981 when she visited Guthrie Castle for the first time with her father to attend a Guthrie Reunion. After a few more trips to Scotland, Carrie joined Clan Guthrie USA where she has served as Treasurer and Vice-President and has been on the Board of Directors for the past 30 years. Carrie and her husband live in Port Orchard, Washington. She works as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and in her spare time, competes on horses in dressage and 3-day eventing.
Emma Drummond Moray
— Director
Emma Drummond Moray FRSA is a trustee of the Guthrie Heritage SCIO. She is the daughter of Christian Guthrie and Jamie Rattray and was brought up at the family home, Craighall with weekend visits to Guthrie Castle. Here her grandmother Mona taught her music and poetry while from her grandfather Ivan she learnt the importance of beautiful gardens. Emma worked as a journalist in London, attending simultaneously part-time the Guildhall School of music. More recently she has started writing for children. She lives at Abercairny in Perthshire and has one daughter, Caroline Daisy.
Reverend Brian Ramsay
— Director
Reverend Brian Ramsay represents the local community on the Board of Trustees. He grew up in Kirriemuir, attending Webster’s Seminary and the Boys Brigade. He studied at the University of St. Andrews, earning a Bachelor of Divinity and a Diploma of Pastoral Care, later receiving a Master of Literature. His first role was Assistant Minister at Jedburgh Old Parish, Ancrum and Edgerston in the Scottish Borders. Ordained in Lanarkshire in 1980, he served three Churches before becoming Minister of Aberlemno, Guthrie and Rescobie in 1984, where he remained until retiring in 2022.
Vance (Breeze) Guthrie
— Director
Breeze Guthrie is President of Clan Guthrie a Non- Profit Organization with 500 proud Guthrie members. Breeze’s enjoyment is studying Guthrie History and attending multiple Highland Games in the US. Breezes focus is to serve his community. Breeze also serves as Vice Mayor of The City of Maitland, Florida. He also serves as Vice President of St. Andrews Society of Central Florida.

Guthrie Heritage SCIO needs your support to protect and preserve our Guthrie Church! Donations will be used to cover costs associated with maintaining the Church including general upkeep, repairs, and ongoing maintenance, along with administrative costs such as insurance and legal fees. Please consider a one-time or monthly donation. Donations can be made through our UK Go Fund Me Account and qualify for Gift Aid. Donations can also be made through Clan Guthrie USA, on behalf of Save Guthrie Church, and will qualify as a charitable donation to a 501-C-3.
